What are the qualifications of a Quality Control Officer?
If you are skilled and experienced in work, you can work in this position by studying any subject. However, if you want to get a job in a good organization, you have to have a bachelor’s / master’s degree in textile engineering. Many institutions offer jobs even if they have a diploma degree in textile engineering/management. However, if you want to work in a higher position, it is better to have an MBA degree.

The most well-known educational institution of textile engineering in Bangladesh is the Bangladesh University of Textile Engineering (BUTEX). He graduated from Jhenaidah, Noakhali, Pabna, Chittagong, and Barisal Textile Engineering Colleges. Besides, among the public universities, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET), Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology have the opportunity to study Textile Engineering.
Textile engineering can be studied in a total of 13 private universities in Bangladesh. Notable among them are Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), BJMEA University of Fashion and Technology, and Daffodil International University. The National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER) under the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and run by BTMA is currently the second-largest textile education institute in Bangladesh. In addition, there are numerous public-private institutes for diploma degrees in textile engineering.
What can be the career of a quality control officer?
As a Quality Control Officer, you can become a Quality Control Manager within 5-9 years of joining the organization. However, in this case, sometimes 2/3 more steps have to be crossed.
If you work efficiently and if you are skilled in office management and executive work, it is possible to work at the executive level of the company. If you have a good quality control manager, you can also get the position of AGM or GM in the organization.
